Dukan CRUISE phase PP + PV

Dukan Cruise phase! Time for veggies ;)

After a stint on attack you will be very excited about introducing some veggies to your diet, along with a few more trips to the toilet!

So the idea is that you do one day on protein and vegetables followed by the next day on pure protein, again. I must admit this was easy to start with, and then I found doing two days eating protein and veggies followed by two days eating just protein a lot easier.
I find when I have the veggies one day I also seem to want them the next too. After that I'm ready for two days on PP ( pure protein ) again. So I went with my body on this one!
My weight plateaued for a while on the ''day on fay off'  rythem , so i found us way worked better for me.
The idea is to alternate PP days and PV days for the entire cruise phase.

The biggest thing about for me is finding foods you enjoy eating whilst on a restricted list. Pure protein days are more difficult , I'm finding the cruise a lot easier.

So I'm sharing some of my Cruise phase dinners and breakfasts that I enjoyed with you.

One of my favourites

Salmon cooked in soy sauce lemon juice and black pepper! YUM

With home made Hollandaise sauce,

HS- made from 1 egg yolk, parsley, mustard and milk. Heated very gently, stiring continuously. You have to take the sauce of the heat before it even nears a holing point, other wise you just get egg!

My fish was literally swimming in the soy sauce, but it soon boils down and forms a lovely sticky coating for the fish.

My awesomeness complimenting salad, ( all veg tastes amazing after attack) !

Cucumbers, spinach, rocket, pepper and some balsamic vinegar!

Home made meetballs with tomatoes and mushrooms!

The ultimate delish dinner on the Cruise Phase! WoW

For this disge you need the following:
1 pack of lean beef mince
Italian dried herb seasoning
15 cherry tomatoes
20 button mushrooms
Beef stock
1/2 pint of  boiling water
2 tablespoons of quark
Natural yogurt

For the accompanying salad

Italian leafy greens
Chopped carrots
Cucumber

Natural fat free yogurt as a dip!

What I ate on the attack PP days

See my Dukan diet food phot's.

What I have been eating for breakfast lunch and dinner

So I weighed myself this morning, I'm now 9st 5lb. I was 10st 3 4 weeks ago! I have to say even though Dukan has some tough enduring days (only a few) its well worth it, you can loose weight with ease!

Yesterday was a lazy uncreative attack day for me.

I ate ham, oatbran in hot water, natural yoghurt and a coffee for breakfast.

For lunch I had a pack of Turkey breast, followed by a mid afternoon snack of Parma ham!

In the evening I had spicy chicken wings of which I removed the skin before eating them. And a boiled egg!

The only interesting thing I had to accompany my dinner was a sauce I made from Greek yoghurt. I added Italian seasoning , chilli powder and sliced up gherkins! That was yummy!

I then had a tolerated food and drink - CHOCOLATE ...b ut not any old chocolate. I had Green & Black dark chocolate squares, about 5.  Generally I find this to be the least fattening of the chocolate choices.
Followed my a hot soyamilk COCOA drink.

Dukan for breakfast

Dukan for Breakfast

So here are some ideas for your Dukan diet breakfasts:

Ham with a scrambled egg omelet, seasoned with salt and pepper, Oatbran! Soy sauce!

Remember you can eat as much as you like of the eggs and ham, however if you have high cholesterol you may not want to eat more than 2-3 egg yolks a week. Soy sauce to taste. Cup of roibos tea with skimmed milk, naturally sweeter tasting.

A slightly nicer Dukan attack breakfast:
'Total' 0% fat free yoghurt, a great compliment to any breakfast or Dukan diet dish. You can add sweetener or vanilla essence to taste if you wish to. Turkey Breast, yes some may prefer this at lunch time, but what's to say you can't have it at breakfast time too! It's yummy.
The all important OATBRAN with hot water or milk, tastes lovely and it's filling!
And a cappuccino, sweetener to taste with a dusting of Cocoa.

One of my favourite and most satisfying breakfast is this:

Hot Mackerel, seasoned with parsley, natural fat free pro biotic yogurt and Lemon and finer herbal tea.
And of course the non optional 1.5 tablespoons of OATBRAN in hotwater.

Oat bran with Goji Berries

A simple breakfast to fill you up, specially when you don't have time for anything more. A MUST on a busy day

4 weeks on the Dukan diet and time to RAVE about it

Dukan Diet - Attack phase to Cruise phase! See the results with in days.

So My Husband, friends and I have been doing the Dukan diet for a month now and the results have been so astonishing. I have lost 10lb and my husband 1st! We feel great.  If feel its only right to share my experience, foods, recipes and phases to date with the world of Dukaneers and aspiring Dukaneerers.

I must say from the start that I am not a Dukan coach, you will find the official Dukan website here www.dukandiet.co.uk

So firstly THE ATTACK PHASE : Possibly the hardest part of the diet, but considering it only lasts for about 3 to 5 days I'd say anyone can survive it. It's hugely motivating as well as you nearly always loose between 3 and 5 lbs, depending on your starting weight.
Eating only protein can be hard if you are not creative with your food, so on blog updates to follow you will fnd some of the PP (pure protein) breakfasts, lunches and dinners that I prepared. Hopefully this will give you some inspiration on you Dukan dieting journey.

I started with breakfasts like this one : Fried egg in 1 cal spray or lemon juice, my oat bran and some chicken pieces. And Lemon in hot after to dink.

It tasted good, however a bit boring! Bare in mind you have to have 1.5 tablespoons of Oatbran everyday on the Attack Phase!
Instead of having it dry you might want to mix it with some boiling water or hit skimmed milk. It's fine to add sweetener to taste. See my Dukan attack breakfast post for more ideas.
